One of the first things
that will surprise you about The Hatfield McCoy Trio is that they actually
have five members. After many years of working together, the New England-based
quintet has developed an eclectic style of music they call Appalachian
Swing. Their intriguing blend may encompass everything from southern old-time
fiddle tunes, to the Texas swing of Bob Wills and the streamlined urbane
sounds of Louis Jordan, Nat King Cole, and Slim and Slam.
